이더리움(ETH) 마이닝풀 '이더마인' 종료된다?...병합이후(PoS)

 

 

이더리움(ETH) 네트워크 최대 마이닝풀인 이더마인(Ethermine) 운영사 비트플라이(Bitfly)는 공식 홈페이지를 통해 “9월 15일 예정된 이더리움 병합(PoS) 이후 이더마인이 이더리움 마이닝풀을 제공하지 않습니다. 또 하드포크가 발생한 뒤 파생되는 작업증명(PoW) 기반 이더리움(ETHW)의 전용 채굴풀도 지원하지 않기로 결정했다”고 공지했습니다. 이와 관련 비트플라이는 “머지 후 이더리움의 작업증명 채굴 단계는 종료됩니다. 그래픽카드(GPU)나 ASIC 채굴기를 사용한 ETH 채굴이 불가능하다는 것을 의미하며, 이더마인 내 작업증명(PoW) 기반 ETH 채굴풀은 출금 전용 모드로 전환된다. 현재 ETH 채굴풀에 장비를 연동한 사용자는 이더리움클래식(ETC), 레이븐코인(RVN), 에르고(ERGO), 빔(BEAM) 풀로 옮기는 것을 권장하며, 9월 한달 간 이더마인은 해당 코인 마이닝풀에 대한 수수료 면제 프로모션을 진행할 것”이라고 설명했다. 코인마켓캡 기준 ETH는 현재 0.31% 내린 1,821.26 달러에 거래되고 있다.

Bitfly, the operator of Ethermine, the largest mining pool on the Ethereum (ETH) network, said on its official site, “After the Ethereum merge (PoS conversion) scheduled for September 15, Ethermine will provide an Ethereum mining pool. I never do that. In addition, we have decided not to support a dedicated mining pool for Proof-of-Work (PoW)-based Ethereum (ETHW) that is derived after the hard fork.” In this regard, Bitfly said, “After the merge, Ethereum’s proof-ofwork mining phase will end. It means that ETH mining using a graphics card (GPU) or ASIC miner is impossible, and the proof-of-work (PoW)-based ETH mining pool in Ethermine is switched to a withdrawal-only mode. Users who have linked their equipment to the current ETH mining pool are recommended to move to the Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ravencoin (RVN), Ergo (ERGO), and BEAM pools. We will proceed with a fee waiver promotion.” Based on CoinMarketCap, ETH is currently trading at $1,821.26, down 0.31%.
