알고랜드, 프로토콜 업그레이드 진행… '상태증명' 도입
지분증명(PoS) 기반 레이어 1 블록체인 알고랜드(ALGO)가 7일 보도자료를 통해 주요 프로토콜 업그레이드를 발표했다. 현재 메인넷에 적용된 업그레이드에는 무신뢰 크로스체인 통신을 가능하게 하는 '상태 증명'의 도입이 포함된다. 알고랜드는 이를 통해 알고랜드 네트워크의 트랜잭션 처리 속도(TPS)를 초당 1,200건에서 6,000건으로 개선할 수 있다고 설명했다. 상태 증명은 중개자에 대한 신뢰 없이 블록체인이 외부 생태계에 연결할 수 있도록 하는 일종의 상호 운용성 표준이다.

이와 관련하여 실비오 미칼리 알고랜드(ALGO) 설립자는 “블록체인 간의 상호운용성은 블록체인의 미래다. 알고리즘과 상태 증명은 네트워크 간의 통신을 위한 중요한 보안 기능이다. 이 혁신은 블록체인 산업에 더 나은 미래를 가져올 것입니다.” CoinMarketCap을 기준으로 3.58% 하락한 $0.2919에 거래되고 있다.
